5 New Courses!

I was able this upcoming semester, in spite of the awful transit schedule, to fit 5 new courses into my class schedule. I'm thinking of minoring in Esoteric and Occult Traditions alongside my Law major. The decision still has to be processed; I can't do these constant semesters with nothing but social justice and politics, civil law is my field of interest but I still need to go to law school to get there, so I want to balance out my remaining years of my bachelor's degree not being limited to studying just one thing. Plus, having a varied minor when applying to law school can look good, especially if it's not a common minor.

Holiday Break

I finished my final exams for the term and I'm on my holiday break now. Until January when my poli. sci. courses start up again, I'm going to be avoiding politics generally, especially climate change. I'm thinking of declaring a minor along with my major degree as well, something not politically-involved.

Robyn
liked it
Robyn isn't a particularly outstanding book, more or less your garden variety teen romance story, but still it's nostalgic. There was only ever one water park within my province when I was a teenager, Magic Mountain (kids called it Tragi...
Because I Am Furniture
really liked it
This is the kind of book that they need to have in schools, because child abuse and domestic violence is still alarmingly common and still not a whole lot of kids speak out about it because they don't know how or what the consequences wi...
Thirteen is Too Young to Die
liked it
This was very morbid - and is it just me, or was there a strange subgenre of death books back in the 1980's-1990's? I discovered others, including Is My Sister Dying?, and they all seem to follow the same pattern of drama and upset. Th...
